Did @TheColoradoPursuit ever give you an explanation or even a sincere apology to you?

Not quite....thread will get locked once you receive what was required from @TheColoradoPursuit and he leaves feedback for you. Both need to be completed. Anything short of that...bad trader tag stays and thread stays open.

    Cheers!

I will update when the box is received. Tracking says the box is in Woodbridge, NJ- 30 minutes away from me. It is scheduled to be delivered on Wednesday.

What bothers me and probably others reading this thread is that both guys already posted their feedback. OP's was negative (and rightfully so) and BT was positive (and even mentioned the "rockin extras" he received). I hope you can write something, before you lock this thread, about BT's who choose not to explain why they did not ship as expected (in this case twice, since he didn't ship the second time on the day he claims to have dropped off the package (actually dropped off the next day).

I say leave the thread open and leave the bad trader tag on until somebody chooses to give an explanation or even mention that a sincere apology was made. Otherwise, why would anybody ever trade with him? @SammyJaxxxx care to answer my question (above)?

I'm not sure what there is for me to explain. I haven't heard from @TheColoradoPursuit since this thread was started except for this text message:
"Hi is this Greg? I just got your email. Here is the updated slip."

An explanation and/or apology would be nice but i don't anticipate getting either.

I just wanted you to confirm that the BT didn't explain or apologize to you privately since the last post. He's definitely going to be on everybody's DNT list now. Thanks for your reply. Hope everything is in the box and some extras too.

Even if he doesn't have an explanation the least he could do is come here and own it. We don't want any BS explanations but admitting you made a mistake goes a long way to rehabilitating ones image.

This is pretty much my take as well.

All indications are that everything is going to work out in the end (FedEx shows the box is on the truck and out for delivery), which is great to see. Even so, it bothers me a bit that the BT has yet to provide an explanation for his actions (or lack of action), and that the OP had to create a friggin BT thread to get him to be cooperative.

I'd agree. Obviously, @SammyJaxxxx is perfectly justified in his use of BT forum to reach a conclusion on this issue - but it's truly unfortunate that we're seeing this so often now. BT forum shouldn't be required to coerce someone in to following through with a trade that they agreed to. The maturity and moral standard appear recently to be taking a big dive.

That there wasn't an apology or explanation of any kind is really frustrating and a pretty serious indictment of this BT. I'm glad to see that the bad feedback will remain at least, even if the tag is removed.

I would like to amend my feedback to indicate that beer was received after starting this Bad Trader thread. Not sure if there is a way to do that

Yes, as Sabtos said. If you go into your trades, click sent (which shows the feedback you have entered) there is an edit link next to the feedback.

I wanted to share a story, since everyone is 100% convinced that the BT did not drop off when he said he did, since no scan occurred until the next day.

I dropped a package off last night at a Fedex/Kinkos store. I thought I got it in before the last pickup time, but apparently not. It was only right around 6pm. Well, it still is not showing as having been scanned - just "label created." It's certainly possible the same thing happened to the BT.

Not saying the BT didn't do many things wrong, I'm just saying that this is not necessarily a part of what he did wrong.

Fair point, but if he never explains himself here (or even to @SammyJaxxxx) then I guess we'll never know what exactly happened. Either way, as the facts stand he doesn't come out looking good and would be on my no-trade list.

Agreed. Mine as well. Just thought in an effort to make things as clear as possible that I would share that one detail. People certainly deserve to be held accountable when they do something wrong, and it is easy to think that every detail that looks out of wack is a result of malice or indifference. I thought since that may not have been the case for that additional detail, it deserves being put out there.

What @Beer_Economicus shared with us sometimes happens with FedEx before delivery. However, when the package is actually delivered, you see the full accurate tracking history. This BT definitely did not drop the package on 1:39PM CST on 2/22, as he claims. He dropped it off the next day and it was picked up that night.

No benefit of the doubt for this BT is warranted. Definitely on my personal DNT list unless he explains himself.

How can you be sure it was not dropped off the night before? Again, I dropped off mine last night, and it still only shows that the label was created.

In this case, look at the tracking history. If the BT had actually dropped his package off at 1:39PM CST on 2/22, it would have been picked up that day (assuming that it was before the last pickup time, which is a safe assumption). The tracking history shows that the package was picked up the next day on the 2/23.

In your case, you might have to wait until the package is delivered to see an accurate tracking history.

That's what I would think also - but, isn't it possible he dropped it off at a location that just has an early pickup? Perhaps something like a walgreens or something like that? I'm not sure i'd expect some of these odd-locations to have end-of-day pickups, but perhaps earlier-in-the-day pickups.

Maybe I'm wrong. It just seems plausible to me. He's lied before, so it's entirely possible he's lied again. Just seems like an oddly-specific time coupled with a potentially plausible explanation.

Perhaps I believe too much people are generally good people =/.
