    Hi all,

    I recently started trading here on BA and one of my first trades was with @TruSavage21. I posted a ISO/FT and he responded in a personal conversation. Our conversation seemed real friendly and laidback, and after a lot of messages we agreed upon the following trade;

    I sent:
    Fou Foune, St. Lamvinus, Iris, Grand Cru Bruocsella, 3 Fonteinen Doesjel + an extra.

    He said he'd sent:
    50/50 Eclipse Java Coffee, Dark Lord, Pillbox Porter, Kona Speedway + BCBS, Jai Alai, Cubano Espresso.

    I sent him a trade request, he accepted. We agreed upon sending the boxes simultaneously. I sent his box the 11th of june, and on the 16th of june he said he had sent his box and gave me a tracking code. The tracking code still gave me a: "Pre-Shipment Info Sent to USPS" after 3 weeks, but I thought this was normal because I had another trade going with somebody else and that one went exactly the same. I mentioned it to him but he did not respond. After 4 weeks I mentioned it again and this time he said he'd call USPS to find out what was going on and if I did not receive anything that week he'd sent me a new box. After 6 weeks I asked again if he knew what was going on and did not get a response.

    After 2 months I asked again, still no response. It was only then that the other person I had a trade with (who was also ignoring all my messages for 2 months) finally admited he actually did not send any beer at the time he said he did and this time he'd send it for real. He send it using the same tracking code he gave me 2 months earlier, and at that moment that code changed from "Pre-Shipment Info Sent to USPS" to an actual tracking status. That was the moment I figured out TruSavage21 probably also never send anything to me. (as I mentioned before, I was new to this, looking back at it I probably should have known earlier..)

    I tried to contact him the 2 months after that with multiple messages, and I see him online almost every week but have not got any response from him at all. Unfortunately I could not give him any feedback anymore cause the whole proces took so long the possibility to give feedback disappeared.

    @TomdeGrijs
    Do you still have the messages from the trade? I'm assuming so, just asking to confirm. Also, in those messages, is there a confirmation on his end that he received your box? I don't want you to post them, just making sure you have *evidence*, since the trade request disappeared and that's gonna be one way to prove your case. This is a good reminder (for all) in the future to leave some sort of feedback before it *expires* to at least recognize that a trade was accepted.

    Edited: noticed his last feedback mentioned "slight" shipping delay.

    I traded with @TruSavage21 previously, so I have some info from him if it would help. I know his instagram handle and I think we're facebook friends and I may still have a cell #.

    To clarify the feedback I had left - he was supposed to ship 7/13/15 and said he had the box ready to go and would drop it off that day and give me a tracking #. Then when I asked for the tracking number the following day he said he was just packing up the box and would get it to me the next day. I was going on vacation so the delay ended up making it come while I was out of town.

    We agreed to ship 7/13/15 and he shipped 7/19/15 without giving any reasoning why it was delayed, which is why I left feedback the way I did.

    If he truly wants to redeem himself he needs to send you that girl in his avatar :sunglasses:

    I hope it works out OP, but color me skeptical. Slow communication is one thing, but going off the grid entirely (4 months+ in this instance) usually doesn't end well.

    Wait, so you had two people not sending you boxes, without communication, for over a month or two?
    That's just unlucky.

    Then one sent and you eventually got it (I see the feedback, props for not leaving positive-- I'd actually be curious to learn more about it being sent to the wrong country, though I'm aware this thread isn't about that trade).
    But @TruSavage21 hasn't sent or communicated in over a month. Big red flag. hopefully you can reach him/her. Was last seen a week ago.

    @TruSavage21 has 3 other open trades as well...looks really bad. I would start blowing up his Facebook, Instagram, MySpace, whatever.

    I do have all the messages from the trade. When the track and trace code said it was delivered at his address I asked if everything was ok with the box, he said he was on his way home so he did not know yet. When I asked again a week later thinking he would probably be home by now he did not respond to it. Later when he replied to one of my messages saying I had not yet received anything he did say; "no matter what, you hooked me up so I'll hook you up". So he did not literaly say he had received it, but the circumstantial evidence leads me to believe it is safe to assume he did.

    Well, actually three, the third one also eventually sent his package, but you'll find no feedback on his or my page because that also expired.

    I almost wanted to quit but then I had my 4th trade with Wtc11 and he made me believe again, that guy was awesome.

    He sent it to Belgium while I live in the Netherlands and clearly said so. Luckily for me there was probably some nice customs guy who took his time to figure out where it really should be sent to instead of just confiscating or destroying it.

    Hope this works out for, getting burned on a trade sucks but it must hurt a bit more with that international shipping... Good luck op

    One of his open trades is probably mine, he never left me feedback. It's been chilling in my open trades for 3 months.

    Unfortunately, the trust level has to rise above the comfortability level when trading internationally. It probably isn't wise to trade with someone with less than 20-25 trades or, in my case, if already you know a few Nederlanders.

    Hope this works out for you.

    I do partially agree with you, but I am happy not everybody thinks this way because I think I would have a hard time getting 25 trades within the Netherlands.

    Yeah, we chatted on facebook and he followed me back on instagram but I think his insta has been deleted. I couldn't find it again when I looked.

    I have his cell number in our old pm's if you'd like it. Maybe a text message would help him remember your box? Shoot me a pm if you want it.

    Yeah, I figured that out and relayed the information to OP. I must have been bit by the dumb bug the first time I tried to find it. OP has his phone number as well so hopefully they can work something out!
