Ballantine IPA rating

The best Ballantine IPA I ever had was draft beer at the Bethlehem Hotel during Musikfest. That particular keg was OUTSTANDING!! That occurred in August 2015. I have not seen draft Ballantine IPA since then. I mostly frequent beer bars that concentrate on craft beer. I am guessing the owners of those bars do not view Ballantine beers as being craft?

Not sure I would agree with that Jack... I had Ballantine IPA on tap at The Wooden Match in Bethlehem, whose draft list is mainly craft... and somewhere else I can't remember, but I mostly frequent craft beer places, so I'm going to guess it was a craft bar.

I found the 750 ml bottles were "better", more suitable to my taste buds than the 12 ounce bottles but I still dug them. My memory is Tres foggy about the earlier renditions.

 

I rated it a 3.36. I thought it was pretty decent and after trying it several times, I say the fresher, the better, not because its an IPA, but because this one really goes downhill after 30 days..
