Yeah. I'm not sure how much was mind over matter, but I wasnt feeling it. I dont think it is a strong enough base beer to carry that strong of a flavor. I could just barely get cream ale notes toward the very end. Like it of not, it is VERY coffee forward. So if any of you ate looking for that dominant flavor in a low abv, better give it a try.

Reminds me of Carton's Regular Coffee, very enjoyable.

So glad I only grabbed one of these. Tasted how stale spent coffee grounds smell. Back to vas it is

Had this in Springfield Mass a few weeks back. Thought it was one of the best beers I've ever had.

Finally hit Southern Illinois. Have a sixer cooling down right now. Looking forward to it

Also now getting some ash tray notes. What a disaster. Down the drain she goes

After falling in love with Regular Coffee I am dying to try this, but I haven't come across it yet. I was so excited because I assumed it would be pretty easy to get my hands on. Alas, I am still searching. Sounds awesome.

Ok, I just tried this. We found a place that sells separate beers from 6 packs. It’s easy drinking, but nothing groundbreaking and IMO most definitely not worth the same price tag as Victory at Sea. We’ve had better white stouts. Noble needs to bottle their Naughty Sauce.

Anyone seen this in New Jersey? Any word on when it will finally hit the Garden State?

I finally got my hands on this on tap a few weeks ago. Good beer but I couldn't see myself drinking more than one. It reminded me a lot of caramel corn for some strange reason.

Would drink again but not going out of my way for it.

Love Victory, thought Calm would be a good "hot day" version... Got some a couple weeks ago and LOVED IT! I don't go out of my way for Cream Ales (ciders and darks are my thing, hop lovers can ignore me), but will buy this every time I come across it!

Not to revive an old thread, but I've been looking all over for this beer in the Philly area and was told by someone that it's being discontinued. Is there any truth to that? I'm tempted to buy a couple 6'ers from CraftShack if this is the case.

Not discontinued, but it is seasonal. It's going to be replaced by VAS 6-packs pretty soon.

I was meh @ first but now I'm digging it as a follower to Victory @ Sea.

I liked it - rated it 4.21. It's not as good (relatively) as VAS, which is world class. I'll happily drink it before VAS comes out.
