Ballast Point in Texas!

It has been out for a few months now.. I see stacks of Sculpin boxes at my specs every week. Victory is a little harder to find but not much.

 

Meh, i find VaS easily here in austin. Actually never seen a sculpin lol

 

I found some Deschutes Black Butte the other day!

 

WHERE?!

 

I drive to Austin from Fort Worth weekly just to grab this whale.. I can't believe I finally found it!

 

Saw some Sea Monster at my Specs today. Along with some Southern Tier.

 

Ignore the Sea Monster. Wait for the Victory at Sea.

 

I very much enjoy both. Glad I am able to get some, and not have to be at my parents house in Illinois. With Ballast Point, Founders, and Southern Tier my beer runs up north are getting smaller and smaller. Which is a very good thing IMO.

 

Which Spec's? City?

Victory at Sea is probably a better beer than Sea Monster, but Sea Monster is still a damned good beer, if you like 'em boozy. I haven't seen bottles of it anywhere, actually.

 

Had Sea Monster on tap for the first time tonight at Pinthouse. It's super good but Victory at Sea is a couple clear notches above, in my opinion.

 

Does this mean Texas will get the Ballast Point liquor as well?

Sweet! So we're clear, I always put out on the 1st date. Expect nothing less.

 

I guess we're spoiled by Andrews in Dallas. We have been swimming in Ballast Point. A number of places have Victory at Sea, Sea Monster, and Dorado.
