Hell yeah. BP is one of my faves; we drank the hell out of Sculpin when we lived on the west coast and load up on grapefruit every time we go to Chicago. This being local will be $!

I might actually get to try more of the BP line. But only if we can get it fresh, which I've seen can be an issue in other Midwestern states.

I can finally drink that last Victory at Sea I've been saving for months. My parents will also be happy to hear they won't have to haul back as much beer on their annual Florida trip next month.

Pretty pumped about them coming to town. I do hate our pricing structure here though. You can count on it being $2-$3 more expensive than anywhere else in the country. Maybe the grocery stores will carry it.

It will be nice to have Ballast Point on draft in Indiana. Lots of great beers.

I was stoked to see this in MI a month or two back. Then I checked the dates and pricing: about two months old and $16.99/6 for Sculpin and Graperfruit Sculpin.

Needless to say I bought one sixer and it was really good. But to pay about $1 less for this than Hopslam it will not be anywhere near a regular for me.

They've been shipping so much to MI that I fear for the shelf-turd status of this delicious but pricy beer.

Agree, I hate to see it stacked so high everywhere in MI. This is a beer that could sell well if kept fresh and taken care of but BP/Distro went for volume.

Firestone Walker would be nothing short of a miracle. Of course, that miracle would only include two month old ipa's

I'll feign excitement, but I see this becoming another shelf turd once the novelty wears off. I count my lucky stars every day that I have fairly easy access to Chicago and Michigan markets.

$17 sixers will ensure Sculpin and it's variants stay on shelves. they'll be a tap only choice for me like 18th St and 3 Floyds and all of the other breweries who like to put a premium on their bottled products.

La Margarita in Fountain Square are doing a tap takeover on March 8th for all of the beers heading into our market from Ballast Point. i'm sure those IPA's will pair well with the best goddamn Mexican food in Indy. love that place.

Don't forget Sea Monster. Very under rated in my opinion.

Regular Sculpin is one of the biggest disappointments I've had in the IPA category. Not at all interested in the 50 different versions with extra crap "added"

Went out to California a couple months ago and had Ballast Point Grapefruit Sculpin and "regular" Sculpin brews for the first time.....very very solid beers, stoked they are coming to our state.

Does anyone know is the Pineapple Sculpin is any good? I trust the BP fans on this forum over reviews on the beer's review page
