I've got a Satan's Bake Sale in the fridge, kind of excited to give that one a try!

Just drank part of a bomber. Found it very bitter. Did not enjoy at all.

I don't know where you're at in WI, but I picked one up for $7.99 at Discount in Milwaukee

People want IPA's to taste like resinous pine and tropical fruit, but get bent out of shape when a stout has mint flavor?

I thoroughly enjoyed it. A natural flavor combination for me.

Mint in beer? I guess I won't be letting my cat try this one...

Had the VOS candy cane cove last year on tap and thought it was great. Hope I can find some soon

Gave this a try and it was phenomenal. The shop by me has it, East Park Beverage in Long Beach, NY.

Had this at a bottle share the other night. It is a beer that quite frankly sounded gross to me and I never ever would have otherwise tried, but it was fantastic. I found the Peppermint name almost misleading. It's so much more pepper than peppermint and tasted so good. Would definitely have again. Ballast Point continues to impress. $1B was a bargain!

I had a bottle of this last night. The peppermint overpowers the vanilla but works well with the coffee.

I thought this was pretty good execution.

I know they did a VAS (coffee only). I think if the had done vanilla + peppermint, and dropped the coffee, this would have been quite a bit better.

Tried it. Usually love the add ons but this doesn’t need mint.

I feel like peppermint is a very tricky flavor to capture. Too many beers I've had are either too much on the flavor, or not enough. This beer was ehh IMO. Tasted like VAS with an absurd amount of peppermint on the back end. Not bad, but I was a little let down. Stone is one the few breweries to really nail peppermint in a stout

Mint flavored beers are just weird to me. The Coconut and Peanut Butter versions are much better.

Love the original, love the coconut, was psyched to try this one and found it to be absolute trash. I had a buddy over who was a fan, so he finished it...otherwise, it would have been a drain pour for me. Disappointing.

Walked right by the bombers of this and bought a case of regular VAS. $54 out the door. I was down to my last 5 bottles from last December. Would love to find coffee only this time around.

I had a mint cookie stout and it was horrible.

    Enjoy

FWIW, I thought the peppermint very natural tasting, literally like green peppermint leaves, and it gave a nice little cooling effect to the brew. Not my favorite variant of V@S or anything, but definitely not a toothpaste-fest or anything.
