Saga has become the Nick Punto of Minnesota beers.

Yep, it's got class, it's reasonably priced, has a small strike zone and slides head fucking first into 1st base! In other words, Nick Punto deserves to be in the Hall of Fame, and my fridge. Not sure what I just typed, and I'm fine with that.

Sculpin is a fine beer but does not belong anywhere near a convo about Abrasive.... Abrasive is one of the best hoppy beers on the planet, Sculpin is a middle of the road IPA in my book.

That's some book! Scuplin certainly is not in the same conversation as Abrasive, but I'm not sure I'd call it middle of the road. Just my opinion, it's pretty tasty…but I might prefer Big Eye.

I agree, I'd put Sculpin and Myrcenary over the other IPAs available all year in Minnesota.

I'm not sure where I'd rank Sculpin, so many great IPAs available. We are lucky!
I'll have to try Mercenary again. Enjoyed it the first time, the second time seemed very astringent to me.
