Starting in 2013 I decided to visit a new ballpark every year for the rest of my days. I've found that knowing where to go before and after the game is key. I think we have at the game covered.

Where do you guys go? Within walking distance is ideal but if there's convenient public trans, go for it.

The list so far, in reverse order....

2019 Milwaukee - Miller Park - Brewers - going to a night game in August. Suggestions?

2018 Cincinnati - Great American Ballpark - Reds
Yard House, Taste of Belgium, Pies & Pints.

    2017 San Francisco - AT&T Park - Giants
Public House, 21st Amendment, Black Hammer Brewing and a long walk to Cellarmaker after a game.

2016 Boston - Fenway Park - Red Sox
Lower Depths, Boston Beer Works, Yard House

(I'm a Cubs fan in STL so there will be a lot of Busch, Wrigley, Comiskey dupes over the years)

    2015 Chicago - Wrigley Field - Cubs
For the rest of my days it will be Sheffield's, then Murphy's Bleachers, then sit in the bleachers.

2014 Chicago - Comiskey Park (yes, it's Comiskey) - White Sox
Me and my buddy just tailgate. Haven't found a place.

    2013 St. Louis - Busch - Cardinals
I've yet to improve on parking at 4 Hands and walking to Flying Saucer.

Is it true that Commiskey has Pipeworks now? I haven't been to a baseball game in 10 years and they practically give away tickets

When you come to watch a Phillies game at Citizens Bank Park make sure to walk across the street to the Xfinity Live complex and visit the Victory Beer Hall.

Go to Eagle Park before Miller Park, then 3rd Space and City Lights after the game.

When at Comerica Park in downtown Detroit you have Detroit Beer Company about 2-3 blocks away. Beers are good but not exceptional. Many watering holes and eateries are also nearby within an easy walk, or you can take the overhead rail system called The People Mover which skirts the central downtown area. Michael Simon's restaurant called Roast has great food and a pretty good beer list. Batch Brewing is probably the best brewery and is located on the west side of downtown It is maybe a mile away from the ballpark. Jolly Pumpkin and a couple other breweries are in the neighborhood called Corktown. Founders has a location nearby to there (I think, but i've not been there) along with a HopCat pub.

When in town, use the Places>Nearby feature and you'll get a street map with the places shown as icons at their locations.

Lotsa choices around Progressive Field in Cleveland. Winking Lizard has a great beer list and good bar food. Wilbert’s has a $9.99 salad-1/2 slab of ribs-fries special that I get often. Their beer list is OK.

A bunch of options within walking distance of Mariners stadium. Tons of bars, including Collins Pub (one of the best beer bars in Seattle), Flat Stick Pub (indoor mini-golf and a great tap selection), and a few blocks south Seapine Brewing. Also, there is a Pyramid right across the street, and an Elysian down the street, if one is into the corporate swill.

I would edit the SF listing down to just Public House (to be nitpicky, totally accessible "at the game") and Cellarmaker. The beer at the other suggested places just isn't good enough to put up with the crowds. Also, Crafty Fox is an easy enough Uber ride away, with good food and an excellent tap list.

Philly is a 2020 contender. Late season Lester v Arrieta & a stromboli. Schedule dependent.

How great is Crafty Fox? Lyft/Uber indeed a game changer. Did Bare Bottle game day w Lyft to game.

Jolly Pumpkin got my attention. An all-timer. Would you park in Corktown & Lyft to game? I really want to combine Cubs & Bears in Detroit. Tough to do.

Petco Park literally has too many options to list.

Resident, Half Door, Mission, Duckfoot, Melvin, Amplified, Little Miss are all walking distance breweries. God knows how many as a reasonable Uber ride, probably at least 20. And I probably forgot a few in walking distance.

Tons of good bars all around, Stone Brewing's satellite is right next to Petco. The park itself has loads of local brewery kiosks and permanent locations.

The only difficult thing in San Diego is deciding how to use your time.

It's probably my favorite beer-focused bar with food in the City.

Yah, been to SD twice & its excellence is a bit overwhelming. An easy one. Save it for my late 60s.

A Pittsburgh & Cleveland combo would be cool. Only 2 hours. Now that Rush is in the hall of fame, I can visit your city.

Have a favorite downtown Milwaukee routine? I do dig dive bars that over perform.

I was at a few Brewers games last year. I hung out in the lot with whoever was there. A ton of fans drinking eating and playing corn hole. Had a blast. I was in the lot where you needed to cross a small bridge to get to the stadium.

Only stadium that I saw a guard with a machine gun type weapon. That was a Saturday night game. Never been to a Game with more totally drunk fans.

I also went to a Sunday day game vs Cubs and it was much more mellow than I expected.

Hope the roof is open when you go.

    Enjoy
