Yeah, I think most will be in bottles though (not bad but I don't think you can take them out like at Max's). I will be sticking to De Struise and others that sound interesting. However, I find it interesting that I haven't heard of this place until Baltimore Beer Week, and so far they have had the best tap lists, with the exception of Mahaffey's. Now, all the events are getting ramped up and Max's is coming in with its good events, so there is that.

I think this is the third or forth year in succession that they've run a Belgian beer oriented fest during BBW. It seems to get better every year, based on what I've seen in the past and what's on tap this year. They normally have a pretty decent Belgian selection on offer here anyway, so it's no surprise to see them running something like this during BBW.

For me, when I was living in Baltimore, Hudson St. Stackhouse was my second favorite beer bar after Max's, and it's the only place I've ever seen Casey (with his wife - I think they live nearby), other than at Max's.

Other than "Big Ass Beer" happy hour over at Max's, I think the stackhouse has the best happy hour in town. As I recall, they knock $2 off the price of everything on tap, which includes even the rare and limited stuff. Where else can you get a glass of Duchesse De Bourgogne for under $5 a glass (just as an example).

Yeah, Stackhouse is a great bar. Dominic keeps great beers on tap, and for this event he and Chuck Cook talked over the beer list. Chuck is a huge Belgian beer guy and keeps track of the breweries he's visited at http://www.drinkbelgianbeer.com/. Even aside from the tap list, Stackhouse has great food and is a great place to watch a game. I'm heading there and Mahaffey's tonight for Allabash.
