Afternoon folks. The Mrs. and I will be in Baltimore in late June, staying in Inner Harbor, and I was looking for some suggestions on places to eat/drink. We are both foodies to go along with craft beer fans, so any restaurant/bar/brewery suggestions we can walk or take a reasonable Uber to are very much appreciated.

    Cheers!

Personally, big fan of Brewer's Art. Depending on where in the Inner Harbor area you are, it's only about 1.5 miles up Charles Street. Not sure but might be on the light rail line. And, if you get the chance, make the trek over to Max's on Broadway.

For solely beer, you are not going to find a better selection than Max's. Their food has a lot to be desired but there are plenty of other viable options close by for dinner

Max's will be a must-go spot. Their tap list looks killer. Anywhere close to the IH have a good Pit Beef sandwich?

    Thanks again for the help!

It's a 15 minute Uber from the harbor but you won't find better than Chaps pit beef

If you go up to Union Brewery, Blue Pit BBQ is right there. Great food, usually some local drafts and great whiskey. They don’t have a pit beef sandwich but the brisket is killer.

I would second Brewers Art for dinner as someone above also mentioned. And Max’s is a definite must.

I like the Thames Street > Max's segue personally!

Check out Diamondback Brewing in Locust point as well.

I liked Abbey Burger, right down the block from Max's.

I will also throw in for Brewer's Art, definitely check out the basement.

Another fun drinking establishment with a great music schedule is the Cat's Eye Pub.

If you like good food and good beer in a classy setting, Brewer's Art is worth a look. It's a little hard to find - no sign, no lights, no nothing - so you have to go with the street address and hope you're in the right place. You enter through the bar (always a good sign), then there's a nicely appointed Victorian sitting room, and you're seated in a dark, walnut-paneled dining room. Lots of original woodwork - if you like atmosphere, this is the place for you. It's like reentering the 19th century. Service was outstanding, food was great, ambiance is to die for, and the beer selection was great. What more can you ask for?

Max's. No need to go anywhere else.

The original Obrycki's used to be walking distance from there too, but sadly, it is no more.

Also agree that Max's for some awesome beers, and then The Abbey next door has amazing burgers and also a stellar beer list as well

No one has mentioned Diamondback Brewing with is just a short Uber ride around the other side of the harbor. I would definitely check them out and the aforementioned Brewers Art.

Wet City is another great option. Haven't had the food but they have a great tap list that's focused around MD beers.

Maxs is by far the best beer bar. Brewers Art has the best food of any brewpub. I would recommend a trip to Locust Point. Wiley Gunthers on Fort Ave. has an excellent tap list and very good food, the tuna nachos are killer. A few blocks away is LP Steamers for seafood and Maryland steamed crabs. Across the street is Diamondback brewery. I would avoid Alewife, IMO it is overpriced and over rated

Charleston is right in the harbor and has amazing food. But it’s pricey.

Another vote for Max's. Also, try Blue Moon Cafe for Cap'n Crunch French toast for breakfast. It's right around the corner from Max's.
