Taking my daughter to Camden yards next Wednesday and may want to grab a couple beers and food after the game last time I was I Bmore I went to Wet City which I liked but the don’t open until 5 and the game is scheduled for 12:35 also, never went to any breweries in York so I would consider that if nothing else, I can stop at Pizza Boy on the way home +1 for a place that has cans to go
Pratt st ale house (Oliver Brewing Company) is a must stop in the ballpark area, Union does good work, there's other breweries near the ballpark these days. Big Truck up I-83 is coming on strong these days.
Sapwood Cellars in Columbia is one of the best breweries in the Middle Atlantic states. A little out of the way, but we’ll worth it. They open at 2:00 on Wednesday, no food truck that day (only on weekends), but you can bring your own food inside (Columbia has a lot of good different options). You can take 40 to 29 to get there. Then 29 to I-70 to 695 to I-83 going back to PA. Alternatively, you can go to Diamondback, which is off I-95. They open at 4:00 on Wednesday, and they have a wide selection of beer and food.
York area, you need to hit up South County Brewing. I discovered them just this year. They make great beers, reasonable prices, food is solid on site, and the venue is a palace and feels like your at a swanky vineyard in Napa Valley. See my post back in the spring about South County... https://www.beeradvocate.com/community/threads/south-county-brewing.676981/#post-7976585
Following up here instead of making a new post. Will be in Baltimore Thursday through Sunday to visit college friends. Staying up in Charles Village. I don't know what's good in the area has its been over a decade since I lived in Baltimore. I mainly remember Brewer's Art and going up to Wells' discount liquor on York Road but that's about it. Looking for recs on a good bottle shop (going to want to grab a six pack or two for evening drinking) and local breweries. I feel like Hampden must have some stuff now.
Any good breweries or bars in the Inner Harbor that are good for a meal with the family? Will be down with the crew for Aquarium and O's game next month, styaing in Inner Harbor.
Pratt Street Ale house is close to the stadium has good beer and food. not exactly inner harbor but not a far walk. never been but picket brewing and checker spot brewing are on the other side of stadium. at first glance neither appear to have food.
Just checking back in ... We ended up at M8 on our way to appease our teenage son with an hour at Topgolf. M8 had a small food menu but pleased parents and kids alike. Beer was fine. We did also go to Pratt St Ale house (which I'd been to many times before kids). We ate outside after a 4 PM game and it did the trick. We wouldn't have stopped with the kids on the walk back to the hotel if it looked out of control but it was pretty tame that day.
