Saw he AHA posted medal winners. Any BAs win? Anyone in attendance? Usually someone posts something about the conference but I haven't seen anything. Highlights?

The HomebrewCon went off with no problems. AHA-BA staff did an excellent job.

Baltimore was a great location, convention center was a good facility, and the inner harbor and Fells Point both had things to appeal to your AHA crowd.

I saw @telejunkie, @JackHorzempa, @spartan1979. If I forgot anyone, sorry, it was all a blur.

I was there but I have no knowledge of the NHC beer awards.

The only other BA I really communicated with was Dave Green (@telejunkie). We shared a number of homebrewed beers together and chatted for a while.

I did see and say "Hi" to a number of other BAs like Jeff (@hopfenunmaltz) and Drew (@drewbage).

I will say it was another great event both from a educational (presentations) and beer drinking (Thursday and Friday evening events).

    Cheers!

Agree…Baltimore as a city definitely beat my expectations on many levels. One thing though that really stood out was the diversity of the HB crowd both gender & ethnicity wise. Great to see so many women there…and definitely not just in a tag along type capacity!
Had a good time exploring the Inner Harbor/Fells Point areas. Union Brewing was really making some great beers, so was glad to make it out there as well. Lots of great beers to sample club night from DC hombrewers, Sour Beer Blog, Annihilated, South Shore Homebrewers, Annapolis, Barely Legal, Ann Arbor just to name a few off the top of my head. @JackHorzempa, was really impressed with every beer that you served me. Looking forward to tasting those with Betsy.
Got to sit in with Brian Hall & Marshall Schott @ DC home brewers booth club night for some Brain Hall beers & Treehouse sampling. Was funny though upon leaving Club Night and the Beyonce show was letting out simultaneously…so the dichotomy between the HB crowd and the decked out/dressed to the 9s Beyonce fans…was a sight for sure!
Also got to hang out with @OldSock for a while, had lunch with him Thursday I believe. Great facility and great experience to really let the inner beer geek out. Already looking forward to next year since I've never been to Minneapolis! See you there @pweis909 ?
