Hopefully the good people at Alewife and Brewer's Art make it through this in one piece. Any word on whether they've shut down today?

Guessing this thread is going to get shut down, despite your best intentions. Too much potential for vitriol spewing with nothing to do with beer.

It's a shame folks can't just sit down and have a beer to work things out together. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone in Baltimore for their safety in the midst of a charged situation.

I can see a brewery being a target. Hope everything is well with everyone in Baltimore.

I couldn't work past 6. I imagine Max's along with most downtown bars are going to have limited hours due to the curfew. Hopefully cooler heads prevail.

My friend got out of work from a restaurant in the Hampden neighborhood at 6 last evening. And she crashed at someones house in that area which is a bit north of where most of the chaos went on. Her apartment is fairly close to the CVS that was looted & burned and very close to small stores that may have seen damage.

Since Max`s is in Fell`s, they are further away from where most of the riots occurred. Meanwhile, Brewer`s Art is somewhat close to where some of the madness occurred & has those large glass windows that sadly could be an attractive target to someone looking to cause damage.

I was wondering about Alewife as well. They are very close to Lexington Market, and apparentely there were some problems around there.

Sadly, I'm not sure how true this is. I saw some photos of storefronts near Max's that needed to be boarded up due to looting.

Are they open today? Unfortunatley, I can't check the webcam from my office computer.

Max's windows are boarded up. Not due to damage, just protecting the beer. Closed at 4 today.

Isn't duclaw/ heavy seas in fells too near max's? And according to the map Union Craft is pretty damn close to Mondawmin Mall. Not the double duckpin.

Union is pretty close. Not sure where Duclaw is but Heavy Seas is outside the city in Baltimore County. Can't imagine Union has been open the past couple days

Duclaw is in the county, so is Heavy Seas. Union Craft, where it sits, is out of the way of where the riots were happening. Though you are correct, it's not too far! Based on their Facebook/Twitter, seems they still plan on the can release of Old Pro this weekend.

Don't think Max's got hit. Fells Point is also out of the area where the majority of the rioting/looting was taking place. Though I did hear a liquor store in Fells got hit. Not much in that area though.

I walked through Fells on Monday night on my way home from work and can confirm there were multiple storefronts with windows broken out that had been looted. The Loading Dock liquor store a couple blocks south of me was hit as well with some poor guy being assaulted in the parking lot.

Pratt Street Ale House, which is across from the Convention Center, has announced that they will stay open.
