Hi all I am new here and in search of a few band Beers EDIT , I am in Halifax Nova Scotia I hope you can help me out http://loudwire.com/signature-rock-metal-beers-rankings/ I am looking for # 13 , 12 , 9 , 8 , 7 . It would be fantastic to find all 5 , but the Mastodon ( # 12 & 7 ) and the Clutch ( #9 ) Are the most important Clutch and Mastodon are my 2 favorite bands , And they are co-headlining a show at the House of Blues in Boston on may 17th My Best friend and I have just bought tickets ( as a cheer me up to his very recent divorce ) I have contacted a few Specialized beer shops in Boston , but just in case I can't get them there while we are in Boston , maybe I can get them before we go Cheers Scott Eldridge
Enjoy the show. I saw Mastodon with Gojira and Kvelartek this past fall and it was a fucking awesome show! I think a lot depends on distribution, but if Nova Scotia is anything like Quebec you are better off looking for them while in the states. To 'add' to the list with something that might be easier for you to find, TDD makes a smoked lager (Punkrauch) with one of the guys from Nomeansno, apparently it is a recipe he made as a home brewer. It's really good. And if you haven't ever heard the band, you're in for a treat based on the band beers you say you want hehehe. Good luck in your search!
Clutch was pretty good. I'd say put up an ISO - you're bound to get a hit from people looking to just try something different.
I am going to be in Edmonton In mid to Late February can you point me in the direction on where to find the Trooper ?
