I have been given a Guinness bar tap when I plug a transform that converts to 24v it just flashes it won't stay on solid does anybody know why or what's wrong
It's a guiness extra cold bear tap it has a spotlight inside with lots of LEDs, it has 2 cables hanging out 1 red 1 black, and says 24v I have tried plugging a 24v plug in, it lights up but flashes, I have seen the same before and they stay fully lit
That tap handle is almost certainly owned by the distributor. It's not meant for you to screw around with. Ask your Guinness distributor for a fix. I'm sure they'd love to have it back. Cheers.
It will make a difference if you are supplying 24v AC or DC. You need to find out which it wants and supply that. LEDs are DC but you may have an internal driver that rectifies AC into DC.
On the pump it says ac, I have a tannaforer plug that says ac 24v output on, its just a plug with 2 wires on the other end that the output is 24v ac, like I say the light comes on but flashes on and off and it shud stay on solid
I still don't understand your problem, is it just the light you are having issue with cause you also mention a pump
