Barbados Rum Barrel Aged Coconut Porter

The S.S. Sapona, the second specialty release in our limited Shipwreck Series, is about to run aground. This rum barrel-aged coconut porter will go on sale Saturday, December 15th, starting at 12pm, for $25, just in time for the holidays.

Winning a Gold Medal for field beer at the 2017 GABF this Caribbean inspired Porter is our Port Everglades aged with coconut. Notes of coconut, chocolate and subtle roast lace the air while caramel and nutty esters, hit the palate. The rum-barrel aging process adds notes of charred oak, vanilla, and spice to this already slick and smooth porter

Each bottle will be hand dipped in wax to go along with this collectible edition, featuring facts about the ship itself, which is an above-water wreck near Bimini in the Bahamas more commonly known as the Concrete Ship.

Perfect for aging or drinking right when you get home, buy a few to store and share with friends on special occasions.

It will be released early for Captain's Club members on Thursday, December 13th. Limit 2 bottles per member. It will also be available to include in our holiday gift box.
