Heading to Barcelona and Paris for a month this summer. I will be spending about 2 weeks in each spot. I've already done the research and found the bars and bottle shops that I want to hit up, but would love to find some local BAs to share some beers with. I'm planning on checking a 12 bottle shipper with some great American beer and would love to meet some locals to share a few beers with.

    Barcelona: June 22nd-July5th
    Paris July 10th-July 23rd

I'm not a local in Barcelona, but my wife has been living there for the past year and is a semi-regular at BierCab. I'll be there in June, we'd be happy to grab a beer with a fellow BA!

When you're in Paris you should check out La Cave a Bulles which is the best craft beer shop in town and maybe have a few pints at Academie de la Biere (100+ beers and 10 taps)

Yes you should go to La Cave à Bulles but you can forget about l'Académie de la Bière.

Instead, have a few drinks at La Fine Mousse, visit both Brewberry's shop and bar, meet some nice locals at Le Supercoin (I am one of the friendly local) or at Les Trois 8, have some food pairing at Le Triangle ...

l'Académie de la Bière is great - I'm not sure why he'd want to forget about it. La Fine Mousse is great too. Both are good.

L'Académie de la Bière is mostly "Belgian beer" only and not really craft oriented (ther french beer selection is awful).
It's OK if you're looking for Trappist or Triple (they do have a lot) but most of their beers are quite easy to find in Paris.

If you want a taste of the frech craft beer scene or looking for special stuff I would suggest to try La Fine Mousse, Les Trois 8, L'Express de Lyon or Brewberry's bar.

Hey I will also be in Paris from the 10th to 14th I would be happy to tag along looking for pubs or bottle shops that carry Belgium sours. I'm from Michigan and could bring some local brews with me too. Traveling alone and would really like to share some beers with the locals.
