I was lucky enough to receive one for my birthday in March, but it made it into the cellar and I forgot about it. A few weeks ago I splurged for another, and opened it last night. An epiphany...cue the lights, stars circling my head, angels fluttering....tweet, tweet. This stuff is really good. Stretched it for two hours of sip, coat tongue, enjoy immensely, swallow, nod head, close eyes slightly. Okay, maybe a bit dramatic there. Get a bottle. Thank me later. I need more. Whats the best price you've seen on it? (speaking of that, we are due for an updated Twin Cities version of Bargain beerhunter) Well, better yet, I'd better find a semi-sure SOURCE for the stuff first.Thanks for the help.
It's $11.99 a bottle around these parts , I have a mini vertical going with the first three releases . I agree it is a great beer..I cried unicorn tears when I drank one..
This beer is criminally overlooked. Picked up a bottle in NJ last year on a whim with almost no expectations. Blew my mind. @ $12/bottle, I'd buy this all day long if it made it up to my region.
I am guessing I should have bought more than one bottle when I had the chance.....hopefully I will see it again.
I passed on it, as the couple other offerings i had from Epic were just okay. I saw the regular imp. stout the other day, but havent seen Baptist in a while.
If I could get it on a regular basis, I would drink it all the time. It was the biggest surprise of a tasting I had awhile ago
