    I haven't seen a lot of Barley Browns up here. Lots of Shredder's Wheat and the random Pallet Jack.

    i just want to reiterate how stupid this name is, jesus fucking christ apex. i could hang with the cash-only thing and general unpleasantness of the bartenders, but i am now on a personal mission to talk shit about this place as much as possible

    i liked head shake better anyways

    At least as of 4:00 this afternoon, Head Shake is on tap over at Concordia Alehouse. $7 a pint, so a bit pricey, but damn if it isn't tasty.

    What's with Nwipa and no growler fills all of a sudden? I remember getting them all the time.

    i believe the "no growler" of barley browns sought after ipas comes from the distributors not the establishments.

    Nwipa doesn't do as many growler fills anymore, he's right... I had to almost beg for one the other day. Website said yes to a fill, got there and they said no, except for one tap.

    I have been told by other places around PDX that the distributor isn't allowing BB ipa growler fills. Take that for what you will.

    I will say that I too used to get many growler fills at nwipa (and then immediately leave, can't stand the staff/vibe.) After being told they no longer do growler fills of beer X or beer Y, I gladly removed them from the places I visit and happily spend my money elsewhere.

    Point Blank has always made it clear to me that there are supposed to be no Barley Brown's IPA fills.
