Yes packed. Mostly full of their Costa Mesa & surrounding town locals. You can a lot of city brewery’s has their locals that’s close by. It’s convenient. The places that stands out the most are the ones that brings in customers from out of town.

 

What’s the source for Green Cheek being a potential buyer? Can someone post the pertinent info?

Thanks, took a look at it but I’m not seeing anything on that link that says or mentions anything about Green Cheek. Can someone tell me how to see what you guys are seeing?

 

It was there before, but it looks like when they added updates to the page, it bumped off the one that said green cheek

 

Barley Forge has asked the Bankruptcy Judge to approve a sale to Green Cheek. The hearing is next week in Santa Ana. I can send you the motion if you're that interested.

 

Nah, I’m good. This is an exciting development. Though I wonder if this goes through if that means they’re gonna close/sell the old Valiant location to move operations to Costa Mesa.

They always approve a sale unless a HIGHER bidder comes along and bids more which is and still may be the case as it's currently an "auction" not a sale. So yet again someone will probably outbid cheek and setup shop..

The fact they're still around consistently blows my mind

 

I remember the days when the dudes first showed up at Beachwood BBQ in Seal Beach trying to pitch their beers. I thought there was nothing special in their beers. Was surprised when they first opened. Never went.

 

This is incorrect. The sale motion is still set for December 11. You're referencing the motion for relief from the automatic stay.

 

It's possible but unlikely that someone outbids Green Cheek. Any competent buyer would likely have submitted offer terms in October or November. Very rare for someone to show up at the hearing and bid.

 

Maybe Noble will show up to outbid Cheeks?

 

Pretty sure Noble is having trouble staying afloat as it is right now. If it weren’t for the Angels game crowds they’d be shuttered. Place is a ghost town on non-game days.
