Barley John's - The Dark Night (returns)

Had it last night and we thought it was a bit too bourbon-y. Needs a few more weeks to settle down. If its 15-16% then it hides the alcohol really well. At $8.50 5 oz. pours/$80 growler its too steep but worth a few glasses.

 

I've never been all that impressed with the beers at Barley Johns. It's a cool vibe and all but the beer is just average, that is when they have beer. All to often they are out of whatever beer I request.

 

Sent a growler of Dark Knight to Chicago last release. No issues with the growler as far as I know.
