I just looked and this is the special PA shipping rules. Just makes zero sense.

In a good news story, there is now a Jacky O in Columbus, I’m there once a year so win for me but not my wallet.

    Enjoy

Please note, Pennsylvania allows no more than 192 fluid ounces (12x 16oz. cans) per month per eligible PA resident and no more than 96 ounces (6x 16oz. cans) of a specific brand to be shipped to a single resident per year

They aren't the only ones that follow PAs restaurant/grocery store limits per purchase. Kane and a few others do. I keep reminding myself that Pennsylvania has made great strides with their liquor laws, still some room for improvement though.

    East End Gratitude.

Not sure if it’s hometown bias or not, but Gratitude has always been near the top of the list for me. The various barrel treatments over the years are solid, but the unadulterated version is the best in my opinion. Big sweet malt & toffee up front and then waves of leather, tobacco, and some sherry on the back end. Just enough bitterness to keep it all from being cloying. These 12oz cans are maybe the best thing they’ve ever done. I love the aesthetic of the old paper wrapped wax dipped bottles, but it’s so nice to crack open a can for just a nip. Cheers!

Is this still available and where might I find it? I'm in SEPA but have been looking for a good excuse to head to the far corners of the state.

Anyone from SEPA want to do a road trip? I've got a Firebird convertible so it would totally kick ass.

Dinner plans went sideways, then sideways again. Barleywine meal replacement plan it is.

Kind of bitter dark chocolate/toffee finish is just bliss at the moment.

Yes, but they are saying per year not per purchase.

Smoke can be such a weird bitterness fakeout. This is striking me as session Nemesis. I don’t know what that means, but I bet another sip figures it out.

It's per month, not per year and other breweries have the same limit. I wonder which law in Pennsylvania is causing them all to impose this limit?

When a barleywine looks like a stout, you know it's good! Have you had VSOJ? How's it compare if so?

Summer Jetlag from Triple Crossing. Amazing. Bourbon, dark fruits, vanilla, it has everything. Very sweet but I shared with a friend so a half bottle was perfect!

Another fantastic barrel-aged barleywine. Endolith from Jackie O's.

Poured at fridge temp. Pours very dark brown with a thin layer of head. The nose is brown sugar, molasses, bourbon, vanilla, and dark fruit.

The taste is sweet, but not too sweet. Great amount of barrel. Molasses, maple, brown sugar. Dark fruit, sherry, and vanilla. Really nice. Not the most complex, but fantastic and on point for the style. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and the aftertaste is sweet.

I agree with @DIM - nice and streamlined.
