Has anyone been to this place yet in Grand Ledge, MI? I'm going to be close to there tomorrow and may give it a try if it sounds like it is worthy of a visit. Thanks for any comments given.

Okay, I'll answer my own question so that anyone else who is curious about going to this place will have some advance info because I'm not going to try to get this place listed on the BA site for reference or reviews.

This is a local bar that has acquired a 20-gallon brewing system and hired a part-time brewer, except that the brewer just got a full-time industrial job away and will be from the brewing task so that the bar is unsure if or when more beer will be brewed. (Call ahead before going.)

There were three beers on tap that I tried - a brown, a stout and a scotch ale. All of them were okay to the taste, but none of them were on target for their particular style, so some tweaking still needs to be done. And without more customers to drink up what they have available (and uncertainty about when the brewer will be around to brew these attempts at tweaking) I won't predict when a better product will become available. It's worth a visit for the experience of trying their beers, but I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to get there.
