I see Barrage has brewed their first beer in new brewery, Citralization, 5.1 ABV pale ale/IPA. First keg delivered to Jackson's in Commack. If anyone plans on trying this report back here with thoughts on it.

They will be open for Growler fills only starting January 26 12-4pm. And then every Friday and Saturday after that. Don't know what hours. Can't wait this is right near me. Hopefully it's good. That name sounds promising (Citralization), love Citra hops. Definitely if any one has tried this let us know like jrnyc said.

Does anyone have up to date information on growler fills? Seeing a few dates here but their Facebook post on January 14 says growler fills starting January 24. They said more details would be provided but I do not see another post with them.

It is 26th, I got an email this week from them as a result of being part of their Kickstarter campaign and they said the 26th. I believe that trumps the old Facebook post.

I met the Owner of Barrage at GABF. He certainly sounded like he knew what he was doing, but the beer will be the best judge.

Thanks. Did they provide any additional details? I live in Garden City so this is great news for me.

This is the email update they sent.

We have some good news to report!

First, we have been working very hard on getting our awards out to everyone that supported us with our Kickstarter Campaigin, but after a few delays it seems we should have some of the awards ready by the end of January and the rest arriving starting in the beginning Febuary.

We also would like to report that we have been brewing daly and are Finally open for business!!! Our growler fill station will be open for the first time (no tasting room...Sorry) on January 26th from 12-4pm with what looks like will be every Friday and Saturday barring any festivals that we might have to close for. Also we have only a limited amount of empty growlers to sell so if you have a growler make sure you bring it, in case we run out.

As always, we still are so thankful for the help everyone gave us with our kickstarter campaign with out you we would be nothing but a dream that never came to be!

    Thanks and Cheers!!!

Any opinions yet? I had some of his stuff at a festival. Seemed like a pretty good brewer.

Got a growler of the Citralization at the Bellport event today. Tasty, tasty, tasty. I'm not too used to drinking the "lighter" stuff, but this is so juicy it's not funny.
Also, tried the Famous Last Words and loved it. I might not be able to save the 32 oz. fill of that until tomorrow like I had planned, haha.

Cheers to Barrage and Bellport Beer.

Famous Last Words...very tasty, straightforward RIS, a little sweet and pretty light on the tongue. The 11% was well hidden, so cheers to the brewer. Had two 10oz glasses while watching a movie last night, I would definitely recommend this to any stout lover.

I just got back from the brewery. Small place, cool garage like atmosphere though. Picked up some Citralization and the FairyTale Red Ale, will start drinking soon and report back.
