How hard is bottles of Barrel-Aged Abraxas to come by? I have a friend that loves this beer and I would like to get a few bottles for him for Christmas. I am new to craft beer and really not sure how easy this is to come by. I looked on Perennials website and it showed that they still currently have the beer, but does this mean the bottles will be easily found in stores in STL? Help Please, and thanks in advance!

You won't find it in stores. This year's is still sleeping in the barrels. They will do a special release when it is ready and if you're there you can buy some.

Trading for it is extremely hard as well. You have to trade away beers that are equally as hard to obtain/rare.

Your best bet would be to go to the release...whenever that may be.

Im guessing since you are new to beer you probably don't have the beers you need to trade for it. Occasionally on secondary sites a bottle will pop up for $350...you could keep an eye out there otherwise flying to st louis for the release whenever that will be (most likely next year)
