I am in love with barrel-aged beers that contain maple syrup. It must be my Canadian roots. I have tried a few of the beers on the following list, and they are amazing. Does anyone put these on the top of their beer list because of the maple notes? Any suggestions for others?

    Bruery BA Autumn Maple
    H24 Pugachev's Cobra
Jackie O's BA Black MapleSierra Nevada BA Maple Stout
    Midnight Sun Berserker
    Lawson's Sticky Ale

Unfortunately it was brewery/torpedo room only but the Sierra Nevada Barrel Aged Maple Stout was amazing.

I was a big fan of Founders Sweet Repute.

Beyond Good and Evil was beyond great because of the maple syrup.

On tap only, and only occasionally at that, The Bruery's Breakfast of Champions which is Sucre aged in port barrels with maple syrup. Its really really really sweet.

I do think maple goes well in BA imperial stouts.
Maple Samson from De Garde is extremely unique and flavorful. Wasn't a huge fan of Berserker (it was ok), but not because of the maple.

    CBS comes to mind.

Sweet Repute and Pugachev's Cobra are bad mamba jamba's. CBS was garbage in the maple syrup department. It was still good but it just tastes like a weak BCBS. Have someone send you a Maple Bacon Coffee Porter, it'll rot your teeth.

Good Morning KILLED it in the Maple department. Berserker was good, but nowhere near as good.

Depending on where you are in CA, you might be able to find some Curly Wolf. Honestly not much maple, but good nonetheless.

I'd agree. Good Morning, while not barrel aged, was my favorite beer that every contained any amount of maple syrup in it. They did however make a bourbon barrel aged vanilla Good Morning, but it was extremely low quantities and likely not to be made again for quite some time (if at all).

75 Minute was our first foray into the world of maple syrup in beer, and we were actually sadly disappointed. I think we were hoping for much, much more kick from that ingredients. Otherwise, your list is awesome.

I've had good morning (non ba), bb black maple, autumn maple, BG&E, and KBBS. The only two that weren't a huge disappointment were good morning and KBBS.

In the same realm - my local homebrew shop sells maple syrup aged in whiskey barrels. http://www.keystonehomebrew.com/sho...le-syrup/maple-syrup-whiskey-barrel-aged.html

And on occasion they've sold the barrels that were used for that. Unfortunately I don't have the setup or room to brew a 15 gallon batch to pull the trigger on that.

Oddside Hipster Brunch is worth seeking out. CBS if you can try the new batch is at the top of this category for me but i havent had some of the TG stouts that contain maple.

I've had barrel-aged beers and I've had beers with Maple Syrup...big fan of both, but unfortunately I've never had them combined

I would LOVE to try more maple beers! My grandfather made maple for 60 years and I just love the sweet stuff!
