I am going to Cincinnati next weekend for a wedding, and I have done some research on craft brews in the city including this thread. I know that I missed Cincinnati Beer Week, but I wonder if those beers are still readily available and where. In addition, since I'll be very close to Bourbon country, what are the really good barrel aged beers in town?

    Thanks.

Use seekabrew.com to determine what's available in Ohio that you can't get in Illinois.

Hit up Listermanns, they should have Cincinnatus and Rum barrel Aftermath bottles hanging around. A quick trip over the river into Kentucky you will find Party Source, there is a ridiculous amount of beer to browse and probably a couple barrel aged offerings.

Party Source has some of their Barrel Aged beers from Quaff Bros on tap right now on the growler station. Last I checked they had both a BA Strong Ale and a BA Coconut Porter. Quaff Bros BA beers are really great. They also just released bottles of their Sauv Blanc Grape Bourbon Barrel beer, but I haven't had it yet. They have made weird BA stuff work in the past. I second the recommendation for Rum Aftermath at Listermann's.

Fifty West also may still have their BA Scotch Ale on, which again would be draft only. Fifty West is absolutely worth the trip.

FYI, If you are short on time and just wanna make one stop, you can get the Listermann's Cincinnatus at the Party Source. They only have the 2011 listed on their website, but the last time I stopped in they had the 2012 as well.

Fifty West was packed when I made the trip so I was only able to enjoy a few samples. The BA Scotch Ale was damn tasty, very impressive. The brewery as a whole is putting out very good beer, I second the recommendation.
