    Ok, I felt left out, so I just ran to my local Binny's and picked up Hoppin' Frog Barrel Aged B.O.R.I.S. Oatmeal Imperial Stout. A little pricey (for me anyway) at $16.99, but what the hell...it's Barrel Aged Friday!

    Barrel-Aged Vlad the Conquistador. First time, but I've heard good things. The folks at the Hailstorm brew pub weren't very friendly, so I hope this was worth it.

    Thought I'd put the last of these from my cellar out of their misery since I didn't think the first time around was all that stellar.
    Now I seem to be mistaken because I like this a lot. A nearly 17% Imperial Stout at 4:45 when it's almost 70 degrees?

    This year's release? I saw a bunch on the shelf today, but had to pass at the $13 price for a single beer. I had it last year and remember enjoying it, but that tariff is a bit too much for me. Yes, I've paid more for other beers (hey, Rare), but I was not sure this one justified.

    barrel aged friday was quite fantastic for me. just put down a jester king buford's roadside wares (collaboration with Arizona wilderness) that was released today. I really loved it. brandy barrel aged biere de garde with plenty of pecans and jester king's signature tartness. best new beer I've had in a little while. highly recommend to those who can make it out to get one

    After my 2015 KBS last night, I decided to keep the BA Coffee stout theme with a Victory Java Cask - this didn't hit the mark. Maybe it suffered by trying to follow up the delicious KBS.

    I also had a Oddside Hazel's Nuts...that was tasty.
