Last years list and prices, if anyone is interested in comparing. The 2006 was $54 last year.

Perhaps this is a dumb question, but I thought I'd ask, since I dont know how the state's unique laws work at an event like this. In the unlikely event that the brewery doesnt lower the "case limit," would I be required to buy a full case? Judging from the fact that EEBC's post refers to per-bottle price, I think not, but I may be wrong. I'd like to get 4 bottles of each - I dont need to drop 450 on beer, especially with the other beers available on tap there and at Voodoo.

Thanks for any information. Still on the fence about a little road trip.

No you will be able to buy it by the bottle. Do not need to purchase a whole case.

The only exception for this are the Flatitude bottles, which are $40 a case, and probably the wisest purchase you could ever make.
Well in case you didn't see, they are selling bottles of 2006 Gratitude for $15 (for on-site drinking only). Between that, the BBA Grat, and the Voodoo shenanigoo, it's a pretty nice time to be hopping over. Also, Draai Laag may have some Briar bottles left, if you like sours? (I don't know that for sure that they do. Just guessing.)

In Pennsylvania, distributors have to sell by the case. If an establishment sells food, then can sell in smaller quantities up to 192 ozs in a single transaction (obscenely arbitrary, I know).

I'm not sure what the laws are for breweries though. But you won't be required to buy a case.

What is the general consensus for an arrival time?

Anyone else planning to share a few bottles in line?

Looking forward to my first Gratitude release!

Rain is in the forecast for Saturday so come prepared.

Just to throw this out there again for anyone that missed it:

Anyone that is coming in the night before or is local to Gratitude or willing to make the drive, we are having a bottle share Friday night near Southside. If you are interested in joining us hit me up and I will send you the details.

    Cheers!

Oh yeah, the case of Flatitude - very tempting. And, if I get there, would be willing to share a 2006 with some group. I saw some posts to that effect a few days ago.

@StoutItOutLoud, if you do come, give a shout out about your plans so us 'Burghers can get you in the fold of any fun we wouldn't want you to miss (if you are down for that).

I didn't realize until this morning that all of this is happening during the St. Patty's Day festivities too. Good lord there's going to be a lot of beer consumed in Pittsburgh on Saturday. Every cop in the county is probably going to be on duty.
