Barrel-aged Old Rasputin XVI

    What up West Coast? No-Coaster from Iowa here, does anyone know what bourbon barrels they aged the Old Rasputin XVI in? My Google-fu was strong enough to find that they were in the oak barrels for about nine months.

    And part two of my question, do they use the same brand of bourbon barrels every year? Take care and cheers!

    When it says California regional forum do they really mean "Southern" California regional forum? And my avatar is definitely Vincent.

    US Pacific Regional forum covers California and Hawaii which does include Northern California.

    Northwest covers Alaska, Oregon, Washington.

    My guess to his advice is that North Coast brewing is so north in California that Oregon might be closer and thus they may be more knowledgable.

    Yeah, I get it. I was being facetious since the Northwest forum does not technically cover California. Thank you for responding regardless! I think I'll just email North Coast and see if somebody gets back to me.

    My bad, for some reason I thought North Coast was in Oregon. I guess I wasn't thinking clearly last night.

    Supposedly Jack Daniels for this batch from what I've read, not bourbon.
