    Just trying to get some opinions on what I'll need to land one of these? I live in Raleigh, but wasn't able to make it to the release. I'm trying to figure out what I need to offer that's not already available to the folks that have them, since a lot are probably in this area. And the FT threads I've seen have varied pretty wildly as far as the rarity of what was being asked for.

    People that have them in NC, what are you in general looking for in exchange for one?

    I know it's a yearly one time release, this year in Pappy barrels, I'd think just slightly above $4$. Maybe $25 to 20 give or take, also more bottles than in previous years. Just a guess though.

    I've traded several of mine to trade partners... I was by no means trying to "win" the trade. I traded one straight up for a FW Parabola, and did one for CW 16+, one for 1:1 Surly Darkness, as well as another 1:1 for a Huna.

    Cool, thanks. Guess maybe I'll have to wait until we go to Jester King next weekend and then see if I can pull one with something from there.

    Unless Heady Topper would do it?

    I bet you could get one with two 4-packs of Heady if you have that. It's just a tad over $4$ on your end but it might be what it takes.

    HDR is at Bestway as of yesterday, I do 1:1 HT to HDR. I might think HDR is a little better than HT, close though. HDR trades really well might be no need to round up HT.

    I agree, but I'm trying to do it IP ideally, so most people here that have them can get Hop Drop whenever I can.

    HDR was available in Chapel Hill as well yesterday at Beer Study with a case limit though so I don't know how well that will work out locally for you. Just keep trying different variations of offers and hopefully the right eyes will see it. If I hadn't traded the amount of BASC I wanted to already I'd try to work something out with you. I may have even over traded what I had and might end up seeking out another bottle at some point in time.

    Exactly, Hop Drop "dropped" all around the Triangle for the first time in a while yesterday, so that probably wouldn't be my ticket.

    But yeah I hear ya. I'll snag one eventually.
