Anyone know if they typically sell these in Longmont or Lyons at OB or how they typically distro BA Fidy? Also never had this so really don't want to miss out. Thanks

 

During GABF a sale rep told me that they were canning BA FIDY but I immediately filed that info into the "yeah right" category. That'll teach me for being skeptical. Can't wait!

Anyone know which barrels? I only had it once in Breck barrels, but I think they just tried to pass off Kikkoman as beer.

 

I don't live in Colorado but hopefully this hits their distro so FL gets some! This sounds good. I have had oak aged one, and it was hands down one of the best stouts I have ever had (although base Ten Fidy is one of my favorites)

 

I wonder if it will be just one of their "house" cans (like Shipwrecker Circus & oSKAr the G'rauch) or if this will see distro outside Longmont.

 

Either way, I think it moved...

On a related note, Hotbox was at the Tasty Weasel for about a week..... aaaaand it's gone. I haven't seen a single review of it on Beer Advocate... yet. I am going to try and drink and review it tonight.

 

Called Oskar Blues -- It will be Bourbon Barrel Ten Fidy (wouldn't tell me which one), and will definitely be on sale in Longmont at the Tasty Weasel. But not today.

 

Well I guess I am driving to Longmont this weekend.

No, sorry. All I got was: "bourbon barrel but we can't say which one" and "for sale at Tasty Weasel, but we can't say when -- definitely not today".

I have a feeling they are going to need to put a purchase limit on these and have a release party or something. Demand is clearly great...

 

Any bets they blended a bunch of different barrels for a larger release?
