I am drinking a Ten Fidy right now and I like this beer more each time I drink one. So now I am wondering about the barrel aged version? How hard is it to get some and what format do they come in? I have FW Sucaba, Stickee, Merkin, Abyss, Sucre, BA Narwhal and more on that kind of level to trade for it. Thoughts?
It's completely random with releases of it. The last time I saw they were filling 32 ounce crowlers. Makers Mark and Appleton rum barrels when I had it. It's fantastic I wish OB would expand their barrel program and make it a regular thing.
Like @3bthero said, they are 32oz crowles ($25) and it's random when the y release it. The last one at the Tasty Weasel was a week or two ago and was Tenn Whiskey BA Ten Fidy. I was lucky enough to have a friend who lives by there and swung by to grab me a couple.
Thanks for the information guys. I am heading to Russian River this weekend, would anything from them help pull a crowler of BA Ten Fidy or does CO get enough RRBC stuff already?
Yeah Final Gravity have the Wild Turkey version on tap this Saturday, unfortunately I am out of town this weekend. If it lasts till Monday I may get to try it? Fingers crossed.
We get a Pliny drop about once a month and sporadic drops of the 4 major sours throughout the year. Limited amounts of everything that typically sell out rapidly, but not super hard to get a hold of if you're paying attention and know where to look...
Drank one of the crowlers of Wild Turkey last night. One great beer. Could have crushed the other one also but decided that wasn't a wise move.
Well I put my ISO out there and hopefully I can get something sorted out, because that Wild Turkey sounds like it would be awesome. Cheers.
Of course it was! I'm down in Colorado Springs, so it was a bit too last-minute for me to make it up this time.
I had the Wild Turkey Ten Fidy at final gravity as well as BCBS, Parabola, Vietnamese Speedway, and Christmas Bomb! The Ten Fidy was really good. Glad I got to try it.
