    It's so friggin' close.
Both are in my top 5 of the style.
CWBBBW wins by virtue of format and price, for me.

They normally hold them for a few days. One year I grabbed all of mine on Saturday.

Definitely. Shit, Twisted Reality on its own is one of the best barleywines; put it in Buffalo Trace barrels and damn...

I am not following what they are doing with offering these on tap to drink. Are you saying that on Monday, they will all be on tap, but only the release of the growlers is staggered at 1 beer each day? Or does each beer go on tap on the day that the growler release happens on each day and the only way to get to try them all is to wait until the last day.

Each beer goes on tap at the date/time indicated in HoudiniRN's post above. They do NOT all go on tap on Monday. They stay on tap until all the kegs of that style are kicked, which in the past has been as quick as 1-2 days, or as long as a week or so. The best bet is to show up night of release or following night to ensure you have a shot at it, but some do stick around a bit longer. This means that in order to ensure you get to try them all, you have to go throughout the week several times.

The growlers are available for pickup at the same time as the tap release, and they will typically hold them for a week or so, but they do NOT want to hang on to them indefinitely. I did not see anything more formal on how long they will hold but if you call and ask they may tell you.

That is all based on how it has worked in prior years, and I suspect this year will be the same.

A bit bummed that Twisted Trace is going on Monday. I cannot get to TH until Friday so hopefully they brewed enough to last until the weekend. TT and Buffalo Bock are the two beers I want to drink.

Awww. Was hoping to get up to posts about how crazy the line was. How'd it go? Decided I wanted an extra two hours of sleep vs. grabbing trade bait.

Wasn't too bad at all... At 9:30 about 50-60 in line... Some good bottle sharing going on.... Only 25 growlers of certain releases...

I was #38 in line and all six were still available when i got up there. It was a very smoothly run event, wish every release was done like that. Kudos to TH, so glad they're back.
