Picked up a can of SS CREAM today in Brooklyn. Smells very much like Money--huge but soft mouthfeel. Dig it. 8.4% is hiding somewhere...

Being released at Barrier tomorrow. $10, two per person limit. No info on distro. With a 2pp limit I would say it would be sparse if it was distroed.

Yea thankfully I'll be able to grab 2 bottles tomorrow.

They were unsure if it was gonna get released at the brewery when I asked last weekend. This beer is great, don't sleep on it.

I saw there's a new brown ale - Earth - anyone have it yet?
I really like Barancle, just finished my 3rd growler from Eastern District the other day. Nice to see a new brown ale pop up in the sea of IPAs.

I was there on Saturday and they didn't have it. Was my first time there and actually left extremely underwhelmed. Had a flight and I'd say only 2/5 that I had I actually enjoyed, one being Money.

Just about every version of Suburbs I've had has been great in my opinion. Columbus and Bravo were standouts. Wish I knew what the first version was - it even inspired me to write a review. I also enjoy the Rotationer pilseners.

I'm 90% positive the first (and subsequent batches) of suburb was a multi-hop beer. I think they decided to move it to a rotational beer a few months later. I don't have any evidence to back this up but I think it's taken over Rock n Roll's spot as a rotational IPA. The 2nd batch of that was well over a year ago. I think that beer just cost too much to produce so moving to a single rotational IPA was more cost effective.

I remember Rock n' Roll was released in 12oz bottles a year or so ago - but it was about 9% - I usually avoid DIPA over 8%. Should have bought some.
It can be hard being a Barrier fan - they make so many different beers, you grow attached to some and then nowadays who know if you will see them again.
