Yes. It was either $22 or $24 for a 64oz fill. $5 for a 10oz glass. Not bad.

Was just up at the brewery for a bit after grabbing some HF Legitimacy at Parlay in RVC. DDH DW is so good. Tanto is still the winner for me.

I am going to head up there tomorrow. What did they have for sale in cans?

Hey just dropping in to say you have some good breweries popping up on LI. The wife and I were visiting some friends for NYE and my buddy took me to Tap and Barrel. They had both Money and Tanto on tap and I was very pleased with both offerings. Looking forward to trying more beers from Barrier in the near future!

Had a can of Kapow last night. This batch is insanely good. Glad I grabbed two 4-packs.

Also grabbed a 4-pack of Suite. I'll try one tonight.

Suite is literally way too sweet for me (pun intended). Ugh.

What type of IPA is Kapow these days? Clear and bitter with the traditional Barrier yeast or hazy and fruity like Tanto?

I'd say it's more of a dank, fruit, hop forward IPA. Maybe even slightly more so than Tanto.

Went to Barrier earlier today and tried a small sample of Suite before deciding whether or not to pull the trigger on cans (was definitely getting Kapow!) and damn. It's got a bit of sweetness upfront but a great citrus softness to it with a real easy finish. I couldn't believe it's near 8%. Hopefully the cans are as good as the draft.

IMO the cans are less sweet than the draft but WAY more dank. **DANK HOP BOMB**

Started with Kapow! and it's just a great single IPA. Dry start, a citric grapefruit taste, clean finish. The carbonation seemed a little off while pouring but the soft feel isn't affected at all. The smell out of the can was beautiful.

According to their Twitter page, they're collaborating with Sloop. That should be fun.

I'm trying to figure out how I can sneak to Barrier tomorrow after spending a few hours in Northport today without the word 'divorce' being thrown around my house.
