Hopefully this humidititties calms down by Saturday. Gets hot in that area when the suns blazing and the nearby industry adds quite the "funk".

I'll probably head over at 1145 just so I can get in and hopefully out pretty fast and get back to town to enjoy my day.

I think I heard there was a line for the Half and Half release b/c of Other Half - but I would never go to Barrier (or anywhere else) on a release day. I just hope they don't start pumping out hazy IPAs at the expense of other beers in their portfolio. and yes Tekus are for nerds - Barrier isn't a Teku kind of place.

Between this and the hurricane, Barrier has had some very bad luck!

This will be the first and last time I say this but boy do I sure hope LIRR has one of those "train derailment, faulty switch, east tunnel failure" kind of mornings between 10am-3pm tomorrow.

    Hopefully foreshadowing for something unique

Using Sand City as a guide here, I am going to go out on a limb here, the Long Island crowd that usually hits SC for their better releases will also hit Barrier. Not to mention some tri-state area people which will result in a sell-out, although without knowing case counts hard to say. Has Grimm ever had a beer released at a brewery? Great chance here for people to get a case instead of scraps of one or two cans like other Grimm beers.

I'd think about lining up to get a case of Simple Cali Common if it was ever canned!

Only 4 people came from the 10:28am train. Line is probably 60 deep now. I'd say no rush to get here.

It was fine an hour ago. The immediate brewery area seems spoken for. You could probably find parking eventually down the road.

Line is probably approaching 100 deep.

Hahah well now that its apparent the LIRR wants to do its job I might as well approach the subject.

Shit I can't decide if I go now or chance it later.

The OH brigade is definitely on their way now.

What in the world do people do with all of this beer?

Very reminiscent of a Sand City line. Not that bad, IMHO.
