I saw at least 50 people give up and leave before getting beer. If the line moved faster, there would not be any beer left right now.

So yea, if you wanted a guarantee of beer, the line wasn't a waste.

It moved slow because they only had two POS and both people ringing up also grabbed the beer. Plus its the first time using the new card system. Completely understandable growing pains. Wish it ran faster but super stoked for them with a successful beer release.

One of them was almost me. Thankfully my buddy came so we kept taking turns going in for a pour. That definitely helped.

Lol, like I can pick and choose when I have time to get to Oceanside. Noon-1 was literally the only time I could go there today.

Hindsight is 20/20. From the number of people there when I left at 1:45 and from what they told us, it should have sold out. Not sure where the disconnect happened, maybe we just got inaccurate information. Finding a whole other palate after having posted case counts makes me think Barrier was at least partially to blame.

Tried Power Source - highly impressed. Smells like mango right as you open the can and the mango is very present in the palate as well. Just the right amount of bitterness. Extremely well done. Barrier brew up next.

Power Source is a really good but familiar fruit style NE IPA.

I think Groove Angle is going to be polarizing as the kiwi is definitely different.

Both have a nice dank hint that I appreciate in a land of fruit smoothies.

Agree the kiwi is different but weirdly I might like it at least as much if not better than the mango. Feels like more of an IPA, not sure if that makes sense

I actually love the Amarillo kiwi combo, but I would understand if some don't.

Yea right now I am definitely in favor of groove but power source is a fantastic beer as well.

Plenty of everything left for tomorrow -- both beers and tekus. Thanks to everyone who came today, we had a good time with all of you!

Line ended at like 230 so you probably should have just stayed.

Had my fiancé, daughter and nephew in the car. Really wanted to grab a 4pk of each but couldn't hold them hostage. Gilgo Beach was great though!

Other than the sun and getting a bit toasted by it, was not to bad. Met some nice people to chat with and pass the time. But then getting a pos system will probably open more people to coming out there more.
