Finally getting around to Power Angle, fuck me running...this is great. As someone alluded to before, the kiwi and the Amarillo mesh perfectly. Slight bitterness on the finish, really soft feel, you can really taste the kiwi. Needless to say, the Grimm has it's work cut for it when I get around to that and I'm not unhappy I'll have 2 4s of this for my vacation in less than 2 weeks.

 

Went there at 230 today and they were sold out of power angle. Was able to get some Power Source though

 

Duh...I meant Groove Angle in my last post. Just a great beer all the way to the last lace in my Becher glass.

 

Groove Angle is fucking awesome. Should have bought another 4.

 

Swung by at 3:15 and was in and out in 15 minutes. Power Source is fantastic. Groove Angle might be a little too fruity for me; keep debating whether or not I like it.

 

Pleasantly surprised by both beers. Mango usually doesn't do it for me, but it's working in this brew. The Groove is up there with the best beers Barrier has ever produced. More please!

 

Went to Barrier last night to fill some growlers. I was pleasantly surprised by Groove Angle, Power Source, Daddy Warbucks, and Hop Damn all being available in cans. The Barrier roll continues!

 

Where do they keep finding more cases?

 

What time was that at? Any idea how much was left of Power Source and Groove Angle?

 

They canned Daddy Warbucks?

 

I rolled in there today around 4pm, 5 or 6 people wandered in. No line, hope you suckers enjoyed sweating your asses off Saturday, ha ha, only kidding ! Got cans of Power Source and Groove Angle, saw some other people get Daddy Warbucks cans. Not sure how much stuff they had left, beers came right out of the refrigerator behind bar.

 

Hop Damn is a great imperial rye IPA, has a real nice bite!

 

I wonder if they kept some for the locals/regulars, that would have been much nicer for me.

 

I actually went again last night to grab a 4-pack of groove angle for a friend in cali and they seemed to have plenty power source left. So naturally I grabbed some. I actually like how they didnt post it yesterday.

 

At opening they had 12 cases of Power Source.

 

IMHO Power Source >>> Groove Angle

 

I agree - Groove is good, but the kiwi is just a tad too tart. Maybe it'll mellow after a while? The smell on Power is amazing and the mango and mosaic are a great match.

Gotta figure Power Source is gone by now.

 

Power is gone, still have cans of Groove, Daddy and Hop Damn. Groove on tap as well.
