I have to reiterate a previous post...I got a few Kapows today and this beer just gets better every batch they make. The smell, taste and feel are just about perfect.

Anybody try the new cans yet? They're supposedly brewery-only and am just wondering if it's worth the ride to Oceanside when I got a lot of shit going on this weekend.

Curious too - wondering if they are proper WC style or not.

Got a 4 pack of Reverse on Wednesday. I am really enjoying it and would recommend if you have the time to go scoop some up.

The other one Endless Sky was good but nothing that popped out. Reverse is definitely better.

Just cracked another can on the beach and its actually even better than the one I had last night. I’m not sure if its the fact that work was brutal today and a nice cold brewski is hitting the spot, or if the beer is just that good. I’ll go with the latter.

What kind of IPAs are we talking about? balanced/bitter or soft/juicy?

It's definitely juicy but plenty of malt backbone and bitterness. Kind of a clash between the two coast IPAs. The hops are definitely all new style, juicy hops you would expect in a NEIPA but the malt/bitterness is reminiscent of west coast IPA.

Maybe I'm just going crazy, maybe it's because I'm using a TH tekus, but with each sip I take of this can of Reverse, I'm reminded of a lighter version of Tree House Juice Machine.

The difference is I really like this while I think JM has too much green onion.

Just read the can, DDH'd with Summit hops, no wonder I taste green onion.

Reverse is awesome. Very creamy feel and big time orange/pineapple flavor. Very well done, happy I made the trip. Split one with a guy I work with and he took that first sip and his eyebrows popped up.

Definitelty agree. It is a very well done beer.

Grabbed a 4 of suburb citra last night. Its amazing how much they refined and then dialed in the suburb recipe. Mosaic is still the best but citra aint far behind.

FYI: new Total Wine in Westbury has a whole stack of Reverse for $12.99. (Each 4-pack not the whole stack)
Place is amazing. 2 separate stores, one for beer other for wine and liquor. Great prices on everything. Gonna put these little guys out of business unfortunately.

Will definitely check it out if I'm in the area, but that won"t be too often (I live in Suffolk) so I can't see them putting anyone out of business unless you're only talking about in the immediate area (5-mile radius).

Hicksville Beer & Soda posted about this on Facebook, lamenting that they can't even order Barrier cans and essentially get a case when Union has some available. It got a response from Barrier, who said that Total Wine ordered an entire 40bbl batch of cans. The owner of HBS then took the opportunity to remind Barrier that it wasn't Total Wine who was selling the Sandy Relief Beer for them at cost (or even a loss, factoring in credit card processing fees).

Never been a fan of the whole Old Country Road corridor through Westbury (traffic), but the population density is high enough around there that if TW will be generally selling
6-packs at ≥$2 under competing small shops, then the latter would be in trouble.
