Yep. I got mine at All-Island Beverage in Bellmore. They have quite the selection in there.

Good news! Hope it lasts at Bellport (or somewhere else not too far from me) until the weekend.

EDIT: It's at the Food Emporium just a few blocks from my office in NYC...but with a $4 higher price tag than Bellport. I paid that premium for Evil Giant, but this time I'll wait.

I used to go there on my way home until they tried to sell me a can of TH Eureka for $15.

Glad they distributed Saazsquash so you guys could grab some. Let me know what you think when you open one up.

I thought it was solid. I didn’t enjoy it as much as that (now) mythical first batch. I thought that was kind of a butternut squash bomb with some vegetal dankness. This was more of a well rounded beer where the 4 flavors all co-exist with the honey on the finish. Not a sweet finish more of an organic, honey is just there kinda thing. I don’t believe the original was supposed to be 4 flavors though I could be wrong about that.

Yea my first impression is that is without a doubt a well rounded beer. I want to agree about the first batch but in all honesty, I couldn’t tell you what my dinner tasted like Sunday night, let alone what a beer tasted like 3/4 years ago!

Haha, getting into my 40s now, I can’t argue with you there.

This sounds great. Barrier always makes good stouts/porters/dark beers and so does Kane.

Lights Out has returned for the first time in years, and in cans! One of my favorite stouts. Drinking a can now the tastes are dominated by liquid smoke, chocolate, roasted barley and a tad of vanilla as it warmed.

I forgot what a normal well made stout tasted like

but it's peat smoked malt not liquid smoke, big difference.

Yea but I’m not getting much peat in this. Get more of a “I just tossed liquid smoke on a peice of meat on the grill” flavor. It’s working very well.

I went really out of my way for some of their Antagonist bitter after not seeing it for years and years. Having it now just made me like Barrier even more. Made me happy. Damn good beer and even more special in today's market compared to half a decade(?) ago.

Is it on at the brewery right now? I used to love that beer. I think I'd choose an ESB over an IPA if I had to pick one.

Not on at the brewery according to beermenus.

Super amped on the half and half cans. Great beer and the price is not too shabby.

They are really cranking stuff out and it’s nice to see some old classics again. Maybe we will see BBHCFM again?

I asked about that recently when one of the older ex employees stopped by with a bottle he found in his closet. It was surpisingly still amazing. Basically a roasty barelywine.

It’s not in the plan as of now but they said dont count it out.

Really hoping for Saisoff or cycle in the Spring

Yes - I heard Antagonist and Dunegrass were back briefly so we're due for a saison I hope!
I don't think they have made a Helles, I'd really like to see Barrier take that on.

I don’t remember seeing Antagonist but Dunegrass was definitely on tap within the last 3 months.

I also dont remember a Helles and agree they should tackle that style next.
