Chin-Up sounds like something I'd like too. Really liked Hop Damn too. Hmm - alot of new IPAs from Barrier these last few months.

Not complaining that much but I'd really prefer it they had a few more non hoppy choices available at the brewery lately as opposed to all these IPAs. At least one dark (non imperial) - brown, stout, porter and sometimes a wheat/wit would be great. I have been seeing the kolsch and cali common there alot so that's good - I really like those beers.

OH hasn't announced yet, but follow the OH thread on here for updates and you'll find out when it's announced. Or follow OH on Instagram or Twitter, they'll announce there first. It seems likely that they'll release 2 weeks from Saturday though.

Had the Waimea single hop IPA last night. Great juicy, hazy IPA, huge surprise for me. If anyone is grabbing bottles today definitely grab some of this.

Had some Stateside Trees yesterday. Really enjoyed it but one pint was enough for me - Brett-ed anything overpowers my palate really quickly.

Looking forward to having the new Rotationer pilsner with Santiam hops - I think its used in alot of kolsch beer and I really like them.

While the line isn't crazy, I'm shocked there's at least 50 people out the side door at 12:10

Lined up for half and half??? I feel bad for Barrier regulars, the vultures now descending on your humble little abode.

Yea the vibe in line was tame but pretty douchey, everyone talking about trade bait. Lot of people who were only there because OH was on the label.

Yea I've definitely seen people trying to trade Half & Half for Tree House etc. different places. Not surprised people were talking about trade bait. Any chance bottles hit distro in the city? Would love to pick up a bottle, but if not I'll try it at a bar.

That really sucks. Hope the people who have been supporting Barrier week in and week out for many years manage to get beer. Sucks the trade vultures are swooping in at Barrier too.

Went at 5ish, there was plenty of everything. Barrier regulars do not need to worry. Willing to bet all these bottles hit distro...

Thats how it works nowadays...best example of this that I've ever seen was Double Dose, I'm willing to bet that the majority of people looking for that couldn't name 3 Otter Creek beers, but could ironically name every Lawson beer.

Double Dose hasn't been what it was like in year 1...or is it me?
Gonna hit Barrier after my chores...if there's a line or a mob I don't know what I'll do

I'm not gonna lie, got a bottle of Atypical and I was very underwhelmed. I know this isn't the same as the Atypical that was on draft a few months ago (i.e. now oak aged) but the carbonation was off, the smell was non-exsistant and the taste just wasn't there. I wasn't a huge fan of Money in the bottle either. I liked the Smack Dab in the bottle though.

I assume Sunday was ok? I usually stop by for a few drinks and lunch on Saturdays with the wife and kid once twice a month - so looks like I'll make sure to avoid future bottle release days. Definitely don't want to be packed in there with a bunch of beer geeks, tickers and traders. I do want a few bottles of 10,000ft Beard though.

Quite the opposite, I'm a regular at barrier bit I feel anyone willing to wait in line should have their chance to get the beer and it's great for the brewery. Now that NY finally has beers that are tradeable it's better for everyone. The last morticia release sold out while I was drinking at the bar and it's my own fault I didn't act faster.
