Bars that serve trillium/nightshift

Not sure how close it is to the Copley but Row 34 has a lot of Night Shift on draft and Trillium is literally 50 feet away. Cab it if you have to :-).

 

Row 34 is not so walking distance to Copley. Cab is the call there.

 

FYI - Trillium Brewery is closed on Mondays. If you're going to get in a cab, you could go to Lord Hobo in Cambridge. They usually have Trillium on tap and often have Nightshift. Or you could grab some awesome sandwiches to go at The Salty Pig in Copley Sq (drink a beer while you wait for your order) and then cab over to the Nightshift Brewery in Everett - open til 9pm on Monday night and you can bring your own food. Have fun!

 

Publick House in Brookline frequently has Trillium (and lots of other awesome beer). You can take the T there from Copley. Lord Hobo is also a good choice - and Cambridge Brewing Company is within walking distance. Night Shift's tap room has awesome stuff you can't get anywhere else, so it's worth a visit.

Row 34 is great. Coupled with Trillium beer and you have a home run. Eat at the bar. Jump in a cab and you will be there in 10 minutes.

 

Stoddards serves trillium usually. Try there, it's a couple miles out if that depending...

It's like no one is trying anymore. Lord hobo is not the answer to everything. Tell him to go to julios and this thread is complete.

 

Stoddards is closed most Mondays. Merchant in downtown crossing (short T ride from Copley) has trillium on draft. For bottles, go to Urban Grape on columbus, which is right near Copley.

You recommend Stoddards and say no one is trying? Who tries less than them? Been there multiple times and they are coasting...service is terrible every single time. I will take Hobo any day.

 

You are going to take hobo when looking for something within walking distance of Copley? Just stop. Your experience at stoddards must be everyone's. You know who tries less than them? People who can't give a recommendation within the confines people have set out. If I asked for something within walking distance of Palmer mass someone would tell me to go to julios and hobo. Sometimes the place you like best isn't the right answer. Stoddards gets trillium on tap, the food is decent and, shock to you, I've never had an issue with service.

 

True enough, you got me on the walking distance. Sorry on that. But, personally, I would rather take some transport and go to Hobo than go to Stoddards. I don't live in the area so not there all the time or anything but have been 3 times over the past year and have yet to have even decent service. Small sample and all I know, but just my experience.

 

Tip Tap Room on Cambridge St. has both Trillium and Night Shift on tap (as well as a bunch of other great local brews) and is an easy T ride from Copley. Looks like they have a limited distro Night Shift IPA and Trillium's Pot & Kettle right now: http://thetiptaproom.com/taps/.

 

Skip a cab. Use Uber.

 

This bar is also just a bit more than a mile from Copley; if you like a nice walk, it's one that allows you to cut through the Common and the Public Garden.

 

Deep Ellum another option to get trillium. Great beer bar.
