BA's are awesome!

    I am a salesmen and travel to many places. Just saying that I have met up with many BA's while on the road by posting a " what good in the area forum" and have met up with many BA'ers and all are great! Anybody else do this? Any cool stories?

    I live about 15 minutes south of Cincinnati. One time another BA, who was a complete stranger but happened to live in Cincinnati, contacted me out of the blue and told me he was up in New England and getting ready to drive back home and was wondering if I wanted him to bring back any Heady Topper.

    I tell you, the people who frequent this site and discuss beer are among the friendliest people you will ever find.

    I traveled up there and felt like a mule but loved it. Got 4 1/2 cases for fellow BA's. I dont ask for anything else over value yet they tip me, like beerbug and ixodus. Brett in Manchester even gave me his Dork Lord (homebrew clone) was delish!!

    In the past year plus I've had the pleasure of meeting a LOT of BAs, each one seemingly nicer than the next. Really is a solid group for the most part. The generosity of this community is astounding as well.

    If anyone is passing near Madison and wants me to pick up some local stuff I'm more than happy too if I have the time. Bought 3 cases of Whose Your Daddy for a BA when he stopped down from Green Bay.

    One BA gave me a bottle of 09 BCBS. for free. People haven sent me Blackout when I couldnt get it, and Ive been offered Heady Topper multiple times. Yall are great.

    I once hosted a tasting and a new, out of town, BA showed up. He left a turd on my carpet and puked in the sink. The next morning he had a new understanding of how Ohio guys drink and I had to steam the carpet. True story...

    BA's are awesome , I have had a chance to meet quite a few really good people through this site and am always amazed at how nice and generous most seem to be .
    Some have turned out to be really great ongoing trading partners. You know who you are and thanks for ..well..being awesome.

    We were the Ohio guys... he was the unsuspecting out of towner. We do it machine gun style, or at least we did until I got married.

    All this talk of how nice and generous us BA people are makes me want to kick every known BA out of my store and ban them all!
    But instead I'll just give them free glassware and gladly talk beer with them. Damn, We are nice aren't we?
