    I hope everybody gets a good gorge in tonight and tries getting their weight up a lb or two before the first weigh in! I doubt I will make any strides for the first month of this competition with FOBAB, Zwanze Day, 4 Elf, etc. all in the next couple weeks, but then you can bet your ass you all are done for after that.

    After re-reading this, I just have a potentially stupid suggestion: wouldn't it be cool if EVERYBODY were sending boxes to the winners? I think that might motivate some of us to really push ourselves, and also not leave everything up to you to be the only one shipping out.

    Right or wrong?

    I actually gave some thought to that idea as well, but decided to introduce it as a LIF rather than a BIF for now. I'm open to the idea, though. But I certainly don't mind sending out a box of locals every month; that's not too much of a burden.

    I wouldnt have a problem turning this into a BIF, but I dont know if I would participate if it was a monthly thing. Maybe at 6 months and a year? I've done the Birthday BIF which is a box monthly and it wears on your bank account and nerves after awhile.

    I could get down with this idea for sure. But again, I also have no problem running it as a LIF if that's what most people want to do. Once we've filled our sign-ups, we can poll everybody in the group and see what they want to do.

    I'm thinking about doing it..... I'd never be able to win a singular month, but based on percentage only, I'm one nasty stomach virus away from winning this thing!

    Id like in...i need to lose some weight.

    Just warning yall, a few years ago i busted my ass to get in shape and went from 304 to 209 lol im back to 265 :slight_frown:

    I REALLY like the original idea of a box of locals for monthly winner. If it's just 6 months and 1 year, there's no way in hell I'll stay motivated.

    I'd also be willing to throw in a bottle or two for the 6 month and 1 year winners.

    With dsal89, we are up to 16 contestants, including me. Room for 10 more, I think! (always forget if the max is 25 or 26 per convo...)

    I think the idea is that I would still supply the monthly locals boxes, but others will chip in for the 6 month and 1 year boxes.
