Not a s'mores beer. But a good beer, for the money IMO. Just don't expect "s'mores". Where are you? Basecamp is sending beer out of state quite a bit these days.

They haven't hit SoCal yet….and I don't have a trip planned to Oregon yet so in the meantime, I need the assistance of my BA family

When you try it be sure and put the roasted marshmallow on, also highwater brewery has a campfire stout very similar and delicious

Haven't seen it but I haven't been looking. Really though, there isn't any marshmellow in it. It basically has a standard stout flavor with a hint of sweetness. At the pub it looks cool but was really let down by it. I think you'd have better luck with a good stout and then toast a marshmellow or something in it.

I agree on the marshmallow let down. I was expecting a smores taste but really noticed the 'campfire' smokiness more than anything.
    Overall, a very average beer.
If somebody does find a porter or stout that really tastes/smells like s'mores I'd love to know.

I hear Campfire Stout from High Water Brewing is pretty close.

I've only ever had it with the toasted marshmallow on the rim so it's always lived up to its name for me. I admit though, doing the same with a different milk/sweet stout would probably give the same effect.

Campfire from Highwater not only won a gold this year at gabf, it's literally brewed with marshmallow and graham crackers. So yummy.
