I was toying with the idea of trying to snag a '13 Prop and thought it might go 1:1 with something like BASS? What do you guys think??
Id say nope, the fact that you can still find it on a shelf should be a major indication that it wont net a prop.
Yeah, I believe it was up until this year, though its distro seemed very limited and downright odd. WI got what seemed like quite a bit, I heard Washington state got it too, but no where else, not even shelves in Cali as far as I know. Edit: And perhaps Michigan if willth saw it?
I believe ba wee heavy, ba old numbskull, and I think the ba grand cru as well were all on the shelves, wisconsin, washigton, and oregon
This is kinda giving me an idea...since Michigan doesn't get Alesmith distro maybe someone in Michigan who has Kuhnhenn (which I am also looking for) may want to part with something there in exchange for a BASS. (?)
It was that expensive in Hudson WI earlier this year and I passed on it as their are to many other good beers that are cheaper. Regular Speedway is a good value the BA version not so much.
Well i think the price is going to be the problem with that idea. Unless you are willing to take a lot less then you paid for it i think people will pass due to the amount of Kuhnhenn beer they would have to give up to go even close to $4$
Yes, I would downgrade my price on the BASS...instead of the $35+ original I would look at something like $20-25 and that's assuming the trade was $4$ driven.
