Has anyone tried them out? How is the beer? Thinking about going this afternoon.

Worth the trip in my opinion. I haven't been since the summer but the few brews I tried then were solid...Milk Goblin was the one that stuck out in my mind (low ABV milk stout).

My only complaint is that they didn't offer flights when I stopped by. I wanted to try more of their taps but that policy hindered it. I probably wouldn't mind so much if I made it into the city more often but I don't.

Their food is good, too but they don't have a huge menu. If you're looking for a good place to grab a bite nearby, you have to check out Mudgie's Deli....it's a 1-2 minute walk up the street from Batch. Think kick-ass sandwhich shop where you can order beer, wine and mead.

Lastly, Brew Detroit is very close as well to both Mudgie's and Batch. They usually have a few different taps of stuff they make and its in a different atmosphere. But, I didn't find the quality as good as Batch when I went.

We decided to go. Worth the trip! The double black IPA stood out.
