How does one tell which batch #'s they are drinking of beers if nothing is listed on the bottle?

For example I have a bottle of Flora that is dated 7-2013, but nothing stating the batch.

    Cheers!

You can generally find this information from various sources like breweries' websites, sometimes it'll be on the beer profiles here on BA, or other beer resource websites. With some beers there are distinguishing characteristics. For example, Prairie Bomb! you can tell the batch numbers by the color of the wax.

With Flora (I believe this is correct, but not 100% sure) --
    Batch 1: Corked.
Batch 2: Gold Cap. No cork.
    Batch 3: Silver cap.
    Batch 4: Silver cap.
    Batch 5: Dated.

The latest batch of Flora also has a foil on the label compared to the older batches that are matte finish.
